To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say,
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from Heaven,
Where I dwell with God above,
Here there's no more tears of sadness;
Here is just ETERNAL LOVE.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you, every morning, noon and night.

The day I had to leave you,
When my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me,
He said, "I welcome you!"

God gave me a list of things,
That he wished for me to do,
And foremost on the list,
Was to watch and care for you.

I'll be your Guardian Angel now,
And watch all that you do,
Although I know you'll miss me,
Never forget that I love you too..

But do not be afraid to cry;
it does relieve the pain,
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there was some rain.

One thing is for certain,
That my life on Earth is no more,
I'm closer to you now,
Then I ever was before.

When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind, I'm walking in your footsteps, only a half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go, from that body to be free,
Remember your not going,
But your coming here to me!!!

Reflection

Another day for you to wonder, another day for you to mourn
It wasn't my intention to go before the coming dawn
My pain was deep within my heart and my troubled head
wasn't my intention to go without words said.

My frame of mind seemed normal, or so I heard them say
It wasn't my intention not to see another day
I did not mean to make you suffer or cause you hurt and pain
It wasn't my intention to never see you again.

Despair and confusion left my aching heart unsure
It wasn't my intention to suddenly close life's door
If only I could give you reasons and brush the tears away
It wasnt my intention to leave and not to stay.

I did not mean for you to grieve now left alone to cry
It wasn't my intention to leave you ,forever asking why
As the burdens of life's worries slowly ebb from my heart
